🤣 They do always seem to make sure the reader know’s exactly where they were visiting from. Thankfully, the “news” here doesn’t do an article every time a visitor needs rescuing from chest deep water.

Haha…. Yes, the second week of February for those in the Hardee’s territory. Third week for Carl’s Jr territory. New Englanders need not apply.

Water can kill you in any of its states. Growing up in the mountains, tree wells were terrifying in the winter snow. Many folk died that way. The ocean is crazy powerful and a sneaky slayer, learned your lesson above the hard way as a kid visiting family in Hawaii. Got real close to returning to the fold.

Ultimately, nature just exists. Humans just get in their own way learning creative ways to be ignorant.

A buddy of my brother's was killed a few years ago by it in its gaseous form. I wonder how often that happens?
