That’s an awesome 70 series truck, James! Is this the vehicle that you picked up after the SAS event last year? It looks beautiful.
Hello Mike, Yes, picked this up from @wngrog and have been slowly building it out for expedition use. Being that it’s a pickup, it needs some weight in the rear so I’m working with Truck Vault on a custom setup for a drawer system. Also going to put a boondocker water tank in the spare location under the bed. lastly a nice modular setup to carry mountain bikes on top of the drawer system. Looking forward to seeing you again and doing some trails.

Cheers, James

Anyone know someone in Lubbock Amarillo area that works on fj60s I’m going to need some assistance with fuel injection and overall looking at the ol girl to make sure she’s trail ready
Casey is your man.

I like this one. Hopefully we get some snow and spring rains so Bridal Veil is rolling like it was here

Awesome. I can’t wait to see it. I’m big fan of mountain biking. I haven’t biked in Ouray since we moved back to Denver. Maybe I’ll bring it.

Sweet! I need to get into top shape to ride those trails. I went on a leisurely hike with @Ditcherman and Bob and I barely kept up!
Mine only if I manage to fetch it from Austin by then.
Surely someone from Austin can make a connection.

Ppffffhhhttt more stories.
Flatlanders don’t go hike with natives.
I could keep up going down I suppose.
Your system of measurement “just a few switchbacks then it levels off” was foreign to me.

Mine (a pre-Trek GF Supercaliber), only if I manage to fetch it from Austin by then.

(That said, I feel like riding it a lot more now that I weigh about what I did when I bought it.)
Let me know if you need a hand getting that bike.
