Pictures guys or it didn’t happen.👍
I wish. It was raining so hard inside the cab as I was only sporting a home-brewed family style Bimini top. I also thought I'd blown a head gasket, was convinced of it actually as the truck was running about as bad as it could and still make forward momentum. Could smell coolant too.

I marveled at the scene and made the decision, as a photographer, to just live in the moment for once.

The "blown head gasket" turned out to be the #5 plug wire being disconnected and the coolant smell was from an old leak soaking the foam. The fresh defrost hose was shooting it in my face.

I can still see it in my minds eye though... like all the God's got together to bathe Mordor in good and right golden rays turning the valley into a slice of heaven even more glorious than normal.

Actually, I did find these. The aforementioned "beautiful scene" happened between these two shots. The former is on our way to Stoney from Walsenburg. Beautiful day. Then it turned to the former in short order - Jimmy and Ian sitting in the 60 as the rain pounded us for a couple of hours. I had to crawl to the back of the 80 to get beer and sandwiches out of the cooler. I pulled up next them and passed the bag of sandwiches over.

Meanwhile, Casey was getting soaked and chilled to the bone in the 40.

Later, when the rain broke, Brent, Kevin (Dos Gringos) and crew treated us to some killer steaks.

Think of this shot like the Tenacious D song, Tribute. It isn't the "best song in the world" it is just a tribute.

Great description.

You can just barely see my sad Norman trying to be covered while I do my best to drink all of Jimmy's Modelo's.

I did find this photo of it about to unfold. Great shot of a Chevy though!

I remember being pretty wet and cold and almost swerved off the road just trying to get my camera to turn on…

The moment I saw @OlYellr and her human Bryan in person for the first time (and @Plains Cruiser )

Looks like you were on assignment, bro. You didn't mention it.

CD in the house! I see you're on the waitlist, my friend. How's the fam?

Anyone know someone in Lubbock Amarillo area that works on fj60s I’m going to need some assistance with fuel injection and overall looking at the ol girl to make sure she’s trail ready

If RoundUp is in your plans for March, my suggestion is to check with AJ and Butch while you are there. With AJ being in Austin and Butch north of Dallas, they would be a trek to be of direct aid on your Cruiser, but they may know a shop or individual in your area that could be of aid. Good luck

Some dude named Casey in Amarillo?

AJ rocks hard but is 7 hours away.

Do you have a sniper?

Honestly though, you have several months to learn what it is you need to know to be self sufficient up there, if I may be so bold.

Anything you could possibly seek to know is within these hallowed halls.

Oh brother you have no idea. I can do that voice really well, if I can only remember to do it when I see him next time.
“Why won’t this trailer work?”
“It ain’t got no weld in it”
can’t wait
