@Mike Shull

This is when Bryan @OlYellr and I first met in person and the joke about us being hobbit Cheech and Chong was fully realized

What have you gotten me in to? I'm not sure that I can attend SAS anymore. 1) I just purchased Photoshop and I burned through my gas money 2) I'm worried about hanging out with you in person as who knows what equipment you and Ian will show me that I didn't know that I needed...

Lookin' good, Mike! I was on the thread until about noon yesterday and am just now back on. We were working on CruiseHer stuff. Stoney is one of my favorite trails. We did Stoney from Creede to Silverton on our way in to SAS1, with @4Cruisers leading the way in his 40. Beautiful trail. If I'm not mistaken, John was still on the original brake pads on his 40!

That is really neat. I do have some new coffee mugs lined up and I’ll post them in my vendor thread soon. I’ll tag you.

Send me a picture of your Cruiser in Ouray and you could be staring at it all week each morning in August 😉
And another from the 1980 40 gang

Haha. I do remember seeing this photo. It was one of the first years that I tuned into this thread. It left a lasting impression.

Thank you! Your work was much more important work than what I was doing yesterday. I worked on flatlander’s picture for about six hours yesterday only to learn that I would make a critical error towards the end by hitting the upscale button. It flattened the entire file into one photo and I lost all of my variations. I had some pretty cool versions to share, too, but I feel like the one that came out was pretty cool.

I’ve hidden my computer from site today. Lol!

I think I remember where I hid my computer… mind if I put this on a T-shirt?

It's all fun, Mike. The PhotoShop "flatten" click has likely ruined marriages and crumbled empires over the years, my man!

I dig that trail.
Yeah, it’s fun and close. You were talking about Stoney, this last year it was pretty gnarly in the steep coming to the top. Big fat boulder field and a screaming wife. With my home built trailer, I didn’t enjoy it much. My welds held though.

Thinking coming over California Pass this year.

Also, hopefully will be spending more time at my land and will be better set up if anyone wants to pit stop.

This is when I was introduced to your voice over the radio. I don’t remember any boulder field 🙄

I very much enjoyed camping on your land last year, man. Beautiful property, and we sure appreciated the hospitality. Made the trip in to camp a lot more enjoyable and less hectic.

Speaking of Stoney, two years ago when we first crossed paths, that drive to camp on Stoney in the rain with Jimmy was about as epic a scene as I have ever gazed upon. The sun breaking through the clouds with that valley as the backdrop - freaking gorgeous!

Then we sat in our rigs eating sandwiches and drinking beer for a couple of hours waiting for the deluge to stop. Good times!

You left off the part where some newb called you Karl.

Yes, one of the most beautiful scenes I’ve ever feasted my eyes upon.

Yeah, for some reason I subtracted that from my database.
That was some funny sh!t though.

I tried but was driving and they looked like hot garbage, John. Maybe Ian got something good. It was great talking to you and Maureen yesterday. We miss you guys.
