Looking forward to this years’ event and putting the sponsor hat on this time around. @bottombracket and I will be putting together a couple sweet medical/ditch bags for the raffle and will have some other offerings from the vault. Whiskey from the land of the rising sun will also be provided. Bringing the 75 and the 60 this time. Will be great to represent the 70 series:

That’s an awesome 70 series truck, James! Is this the vehicle that you picked up after the SAS event last year? It looks beautiful.

The Truck looks great, I'm going to try not to miss out on the Whisky this year 😁

Our youngest MD might join my bride and I. If she does, I now know what raffle items will hold her interest. Thanks in advance for the raffle additions. Looking forward to seeing your Cruiser in action.

In celebration of 10 years uniting Cruiserheads in the name of the fun, family and fellowship that brought us all together all those years ago, the logo is sporting a commemorative touch this year. All swag will bear this mark for the 10th Anniversary. We can't thank you all enough for the support, friendship and memories.

Who would have thought that rag-tag bunch of knuckleheads going wheeling together back in 2017 would have turned into what it is today? We are humbled, and we appreciate each and every one of you for joining and supporting Solid-Axle Summit.

See you in Ouray!

@BombCity has done our art for 10 years. Always doing outstanding work. Thanks Brother!
Happy to do it, Bro! This event is as near-and-dear to my heart as it is yours. It's a labor of love that we are blessed to be a part of.

This turned out amazingly well. What programs are you using to create this?

Thanks, Mike. I've always used Adobe Illustrator for most design work like this. Vector art is king for any kind of logo work. If I'm doing multi-page magazine layout, etc., I use InDesign.

Thanks. I thought that you might be using Illustrator. One of these days I may give in and get a subscription. I’m using GIMP and Inkscape for most of my art. I’m way less skilled than you. Maybe you can give some pointers around the campfire.

Ditch Gimp and give in to Adobe. Illustrator is stupid powerful but has a steep learning curve. That being said, there is a reason it has been the program of choice for ever.

I’ve used illustrator before, though that was probably 20 years ago. You talked me in to it. I’ll check it out this weekend.

Man I like, I’m uber jealous, you letting Shervin drive the 60?

More than happy to do that, Mike. You're speaking my language.

The thing I learned about all Adobe software years ago (like 30-35 years ago - showing my age) is that there are many ways to skin the cat and still get the desired result. I guess that is what I like most about it - the freedom to explore what works for you - as @RevISK eluded to.

He and I have been fortunate enough to collaborate in our professional lives on projects the past couple of years. The entire creative suite is very powerful. There's not much you can't do with it, especially with the introduction of AI into the mix. Pretty insane.

Drool.

Way to go, bro. He's screwed now.
You are right. There went my weekend. I downloaded photoshop and illustrator and messed with it for 20 minutes. This is a game changer.

This is Dennis (@Tank5) and me on the east side of Stony Pass at the end of our SAS trip last year

That's beautiful, Mike. I'd hang that in my house. Now you really are screwed.
