I usually throw in a full bladder as well.

Awesome!!! Work of genius right there!
Curious to know what brand/type/weight of oil you use/recommend? 🍻
Knowing this crowd, EVOO

It’s not a debate. It’s what we use. Comes with Zinc. Good. Designed for flat tappet motors. Good.

It’s what I’ve used for years, but not a debate is debatable. Loads of folks want to debate it.
I don’t.

Surprised to see the oil cooler and later thermostat housing. Another gorgeous motor though @FJ60Cam

Looks like it’s power steering time too.

I almost didn’t do the oil cooler, but these internals deserve it!

You use 20/50 to break in the motor and seat the rings?

Damn, your Kubota looks way cleaner than mine! One tuff ass tractor!

You should see the video of Grogan jumping it over the RR crossing!

Got my final parts in and did one more clearance on the header and stuck it all back together and went for a nice long ride this am

Had to program the speedo. The little brass tang that rides in the housing was spinning in the wire so I had to clamp on it a bit to make them talk.

I got back and started monkeying with the fuel gauge.

It was saying the fuel was open meaning no signal from the sending unit to the Dakota. I redid some grounding and it came to life.

I pull the sender out and did a manual cycle since none of the presets work with a Toyota sender on the Dakota.

Nolen, I know this is ancient history, but where did the bezel keyring come from? I want five.
