Lou it is looking nice. How does the hood fit with the RamJet? I had to track down a late model hood for the extra clearance. Towerpaint is a pretty good company to work with, maybe we could get a discount if we could get a group buy ;-) I am probably going to buy another 15-20 cans from them so that I can wet sand my truck and respray it. Can't wait to hear that thing fire up. When do you plan on installing the interior? I am really excited to see how everything comes together.

Ryan.

info

Not sure on the clearance. I need to call Lance and have him check it. As for Tower Paint I called to buy the paint , they know you well. Ryan if your going to repaint your truck, let me check with our bodyshop, if it's just paint.would it not be cheaper to pay an have it shot in a paint booth? If you prep it,sand and tape off they could paint it in an hour or less. Hey before you have your panels done you should Dyna Pad the panel before they cover them. It will replace the foam they use a will help with sound deadening, I will redo my panels and use the Dyna Pad. I purchase three boxes if you want to sample let me know will meet up here.

I just checked in on this thread.

Now I think I'm going to cry!

Dyna Pad

Here's the Dyna Pad, Its about 3/8 , but will compress to 1/8 . Its just foam with this Black cover an a black center layer, should work well. Cheer's Surfpig !!

Rear Bumper, Gauges and Header Pic's

I decided to power coat my bumper gray, going for an old school look, Well , it came out looking more like high gloss primer,so it's going back and will get the Hammertone Color. I also got my gauges installed into the 55 gauge cover by triming the inside rim area. There is a metal ring under the vinyl so I had to stop at the metal and shoved the gauges in from the front, The bottom of the gauges stick out about 1/4 inch but look good. Future plan is for a custom dash using the tubed air vents from the FJ Cruiser.

Once again everything is looking very nice. I really like the gauges, they have a classic old school look. Whats the story on the headers? I can't remember if your ram jet had manifolds. Are these headers just to make routing the exhaust easier? What ever the reason they do look sweet.

Ryan.

header's

TLC recommend the Sanderson, they hug the motor I assume for that reason plus they look good. I also installed new dash pad from SOR what a pain just getting to the bolts, had to remove the glove box for to two above it. With the box out I sanded primed and painted gloss black also removed the hinge and the metal glove box door plate which I aslo painted and will bolt on a new glove box door also from SOR.

insane 55.

I need to ask for a raise....

I asked the wife for a raise a few months ago, she said no way cause I spend too much time in the garage as it is. If she gives me more money, I'll buy more toys and never leave the garage!

Pic's Front and Rear Bumpers

Few more! Rear shot show Amber&Red Fox Fab Tail Lights, many thanks they came out great. Anybody know where I can get the weather strip that wraps the chrome trim on the tail lights??

Thanks
