I really wanted a matched set but went ahead and ordered so I don't miss out on the transmission knobs.

I'm in the same boat as Kerry... I really want a matching set. Just sent payment for a 3-speed and a 5-speed (a man's gotta plan for the future!). Looking forward to opeing my wallet for a transfer case knob next...

If I may be so bold as to offer suggestion for a possible future product offering......or, as I'd even consider it, place a custom order (after TC knobs, of course).

I'd like to have pull knobs for all OE dash functions made, with the inclusion of "FOG LIGHTS" and "COOL PULL" for my '78, in the same flavor.

Really want the 'Fog Light' ('Fog' at a minimum) and 'Cool Pull', and see no other way to achieve.....and all knobs gotta match.

I've acquired more rare, unique, one of a kind' Cruiser parts than most would even dream to posses (possessed), stated self loathingly, not bragging.

No point in stopping short of finishing off the 6.5 of 10, '78 with OCD knobs of my dreams, ending the constant self-nagging thought of removing the uber cool fog lights, just because ih8theicon, or not installing AC because of lacking corresponding control.

Willing to accept the responsibility of procuring said knobs, even if the only set (which would be cool, but all know more would purchase).

Delancy is spot on... I've bought the gear shift knobs and am in for the t-case knob on faith. Faith that at some point I'll be able to get a matching set of aluminum, stock-style dash knob reproductions. I have a '77 and will need all OE dash functions plus "FOG LIGHTS" and "COOL PULL". So there's at least two sets right there. I'll also do my share to spread the word about this thread... I found it through Delancy's sig link.

Starting to get a handle on all the different knobs. Here's the current selection that seems to cover all the different models.

If you offer twin stick knobs I will buy a complete set (5-speed, and three TC knobs)

There is a skinny little knob w/ small thread used on all one piece t-case, then a little bigger knob w/big thread on 81-84, then a bigger rounded knob (same shape as shifter, but slightly smaller) on 85-later.

LMK if pics or dims are needed. I could send a sample of all 3. Maybe in exchange for a H55 knob?

Here's the transfercase knob from my h55 83BJ42. It has the same thread as my 5spd shifter which is a M12x1.25mm. I can machine this knob just like the shift knobs from billet aluminum,Polish, anodize black, then lazer the pattern. I could tap them M12x1.25mm and supply a thread reducer for the smaller thread I suppose.

Looks like yours is the second size/type that FJ40Jim refers to above.

Any chance you'd be willing to cut a few with the M8 threads direct?

Though this won't be the same shape as mine is "supposed" to have I'm in for one. The shift pattern is correct and I love the look feel of the knobs I have from you.

Yes I would do that for you. What I need is to get a count from all those that want one so we can gauge the feasibly of this project. BTW-Mine is 1.4" in diameter 21-/2" long if I remember right.

How easily can you do custom patterns on the T-case knobs? Need H-N-L descending (two of those) and one 2WD-4WD (also descending).

The company I use have been really good about doing special images and setups for $20.00 extra. Which is cheap considering all the time it takes to design the image and prepare it to burn. Infact, they usually charge $40.00 per image but as we do quite abit of work with them they have been only charging us half for the specials that we have been doing on the shifter knobs.

I just received my shift knob and now I see there's a transfercase version coming, tempting...

Installed mine in my HJ61, fits great, happy to get rid of the horribly mismatched OEM version.

One minor suggestion: on a 60 series H55f at least, due to the diameter of the lever, the grub screw used to hold the knob sticks out a bit, leaving a rough/sharp edge when grabbing the knob a certain way. Easily remedied by using a shorter screw.

@Diesel42: in my HJ61, the transfercase knob has an identical shape to the shift knob and the design is identical to the one you posted. Might be interesting to offer the shift knob shape with the t-case design to get some 60 owners on board since you already have all the files?

EDIT: This is what I have in my '86 61:
