Replacement seat belts for a 40..

I replaced my bench seat belts with the hummer belts. They are very good quality and look good too. I'm very happy, and the price made my pocket book even happier.

Anybody have a pic, or can describe, where they mounted the Hummer belt receptacle? It is way too long to mount it to the factory bolt on the side of the seat.

Go to a heavy duty truck repair like International. I got my shoulder type retractible from them, cheap and very good quality if you like black.

The ad says the belts are 9' long. Seems pretty long to me, could this be right?

Those look very similar to the ones in post #4.....be sure to take Mark's advice.

Those look really nice id say 9ft is plently long. I might get set instead of trying to fix my old ones that wont lock up.

To tie this up, I went with the Hummer belts. Since I junked my original seats in favor of Scat Pro80's, installation of the buckle was a snap.
I love em', they are very comfortable and the price was right from an Ebay seller...plus I got a huge amount of extra hardware with the purchase so I have lots of really nice extra nuts, bolts and washers. Gotta love the Military when it comes to surplus...and best of all they are brand new and should outlast me!!

yes, I would buy them again - I put them into the 40 in the summer of 2005, and as of today, there's no fraying, and the furling mechanism still works very well

seatbeltplus back then had the widest choice of colors, and I like the airplane style buckles they offer
