I'd bid on it, but it would be like pissing in the wind.

NLA?NLA is unobtainium. Make one is about the only option. 3D printing could work, then reinforce it with a layer of fiberglass or maybe a section of like 3in aluminium of sprinkler line.
No longer availableNLA?
Thank you, the extended timeframe was a little more budget and sanity friendly. This is absolutely awesome. I’m so appreciative, inspired, jealous, envious of all the effort and details you’ve put into this. I want to embark on a journey like this - maybe not spread over 10 years.
I recently acquired a 1969 FJ40 from South America….. I know, I know, hold the jokes - - but it’s starting from a (slightly) better position then this rig from WV!
I have so, so, so many questions! Let’s start with - - where do you source the cover over the fuel filling inlet pipe? That part seems impossible to source.
Thank you! Glad to be here. If there’s any folks in the central Indiana region that like to teach me a few things, or point me to shops that specialize in LC’s…. Sure would appreciate to make the connections.@COLtoUSAFJ40 WELCOME! you have come to the right place…there is a collection of people here who could teach Toyota a few things about Land Cruisers from the ‘60’s -‘80’s. YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT!
I was told when I joined MUD. “pictures or it didn’t happen”…look forward to seeing your project
Akron isn’t too far from. Indiana….Thank you! Glad to be here. If there’s any folks in the central Indiana region that like to teach me a few things, or point me to shops that specialize in LC’s…. Sure would appreciate to make the connections.
Are you volunteering to take mine on and make it look just like yours?!Akron isn’t too far from. Indiana….
PM me if you need some help with yours. Are you volunteering to take mine on and make it look just like yours?!. I am originally from the Cleveland area….still have family there.
Thank you.I don't spend any time on BAT because I don't have the space, budget, or time for another car.
The thing that surprises me is the number of 40/45s that are on sale. Reading the descriptions, many have been owned less that 2 years. Are these guys regularly "flipping" 40s or is this just a busy time for selling 40s. (Or is this a regular thing?) Like this one:
