Mmmm. Fish scales.

Sorry, been binge watching Narcos on Netflix...

Playing around with some finishes for my passengers side panel. This one is stupid easy with a 3D like effect
Thoughts?

3rd row preserved so not in the market, FYI, therefore take this with a grain of salt but you asked. I think that pattern looks distracting, ugly, terrible....maybe it's because I've never done LSD?

JUST AN OPINION! Cool product, no doubt about that....

That is called machine turning. I thought about that, also thinking about media blasting a logo, in my case the Lexus L.

Now if only those wings had hydraulic supports... :hmm:

For many a fixed support just limits your access. Try putting a 29" bicycle tire in with fixed supports. They can always be added.

Personally if my window was fixed to give me the clearance to avoid hitting my head at 6'1" I would not be able to open my awning. The window would need to be closed when the awning is out. How would I access my bar then:bang: without risking damage to the awning. Everyone needs are different and we respect that.

Once the LSD wore off and I sobered up I nixed the idea but it was a good trip.:D

Just finished DS install. Super easy. I painted outside black and inside Rust-oleum satin beige to match interior the best I could.

And if my calculations are correct you shave 2lbs per window. That may not be much but for me with a heavy engine transplant every pound counts.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY -
The wife says all Panels are now powder coated black after seeing the passenger side of my 80 AT NO ADDITIONAL COST:rimshot:
Note: my panel was painted not powder coated

Just spotted this, have NOT cruised thru all 17 pages so forgive if already asked--will this be available as a (glass) window as well? Thanks!

Thanks for your interest but not possible to use glass with our design.

Coated polycarbonate? Just a thought. Nice design and better price, just hesitate to give up a window / vent.

We have been there deep inside the thread. Too many negatives for use on a off road vehicle.

I would be happy to set you up if you send me a piece of .125 coated polycarbonate. :hmm:

Lets take it to PM if you are interested.

Love this setup Phil, looking to get a set somewhere down the road, maybe Christmas...next year!

good move....I like the black powdercoat better than the silver. From the side it matches the tinted glass of the rest of the vehicle and flows better with the black surround. Mr Cimarron do you have a farther back side view picture you can post up that I can see?
