good move....I like the black powdercoat better than the silver. From the side it matches the tinted glass of the rest of the vehicle and flows better with the black surround. Mr Cimarron do you have a farther back side view picture you can post up that I can see?

My paint job is not the best. I've never been good at rattle can painting but I just keep on doing it. It's cheap and utilitarian. When I mix up another batch of raptor liner to respray some areas around the truck the panels may get that as well.

I may also let me stepson do some are artwork on the panels. He recently started doing some weird painting with spray paint, bowls, and crumpled up magazine pages. It would be a good way to get him involved in my hobby. If it turned out bad I can always spray over it.

@Mr Cimarron I think that is a great idea. I need to get mine more involved. So far I have put Howling Moon seat storage organizers behind both front seats for them. But your idea is more personal. You two could hang in the shop together and he takes pride in the family truckster

Agree. I keep telling him we should find an old van for his first car and turn it into a "good time" van. He also plays guitar and drums so it would work out perfect to haul stuff.

Did I miss it? How does the hinge bolt into the body?

Thanks Phil, through bolt I'm assuming which means we need do a bit of drilling

Aussie Shipping News - Thanks to guys for showing interest. We will start shipping to Australia the end of next week and be for sale on Australian EBay at the time. We will notify guys that have shown interest when our Australia shipping button is open.

No waiting 1 month, 2 months, or possible more we are shipping.
Our prices include shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states

International shipping available anywhere UPS or FedEx delivers

3 windows went out yesterday:clap:

Phil - Do you have any pics of your powder coated version?

I tried getting pictures of the panels alone but the pictures dont show much with my photo skills. I have 3 more local installs I have not had a chance to schedule and others shipped. Im guessing guys will start posting up soon if you are looking for an installed picture.

With 100's of choices  we used T-241.BK59 a Black semi-gloss fine textured finished. We worked with Gorilla Industrial Coating one of premier powder coaters in AZ. The experienced staff assisted us on color and texture based on durability, color matching, and the ability for easy touch up using Rust-Oleum Texture spray paint (same paint used on my passenger side window). This was important to me because our customers use their Land Cruiser. Coating was applied at 2-3 mils thick.

Color chip - Cardinal Paint: Products

Pictured is Rust-Oleum Texture spray paint NOT powder coating

Nice!

Coming to the Phoenix area soon?

Looks like maybe only 3 remain at this price at this time
After these are gone we will be reviewing our pricing and market.
But rest assured while others require 4-6 weeks delivery time:eek: (possibly more:meh:) we only need 10 days to resupply. We also NEVER ask, need, or require your money in advance:)

8 windows sold to the local guys in the last couple days:) Install party in the works:popcorn:I love you guys:rainbow:

2 windows remain at the pickup cash price of $360 (now a couple dollars short 1/2 of the others sell there windows for) Once these are gone we need to do some more testing:grinpimp: Another couple weeks and the weather in Mexico will be perfect!

To be crystal clear we believe the other windows available are a very nice product just overpriced for the average 80 series owner. ◄read no hate;)

Our windows are not equipped with gas struts and are slightly different sized but with good reason.

►We feel based on our experience of several years of use the window needs to be adjustable. If your 80 is equipped with an awning you are going to have problems with a preset gas strut window.←FACT You need adjust ability for clearance to avoid damage to your awning or possible your RTT when open and you get it with a rod system. Our prop rod system is set for over 6' clearance (based on a perfect set up 80 series) but can be manually raised, almost 100% vertical for much more access. Got a 29'r bike its not going to fit in the other guys smaller window but it will fit in ours.:)←FACT It can also be adjusted lower with the rod system to clear your awning or RTT. The rod provides less obstruction getting stuff in and out. Again this is no way is a hate post on the other window just the facts on the difference.

Our goal at Land Cruiser Products is to bring top quality tested performance products at a value an 80 owner can appreciate.

We support and promote free enterprise and competition - Its brings the best value to you the buyer.
