Does that mean if you overfill the tank you get a bunch of gas draining into the dirt/mud that build up in the mount?
That sounds like a hot mess...

Anyone offhand have the diff bolt torque number? 36lbs sound right?

FJ 60 is 34 lbs.

I would rather use the 80 flange.

Just undo that nut and swap?

I've been told you can take the flange off and reuse the old nut then tighten to the same indent (stake) and you should be good.

Learned some new stuff.

Fj55 pinions are a coarse spline, while fj60s and on are a fine spline pinions.

I don’t really understand why but I have heard that the fine spline is better.

Stronger or just easier to manufacture?

Fine spline means that the teeth are smaller but there are more of them.

More teeth = more better/more engagement

Bigger teeth may sound better but since there are less, there is less engagement and not as strong.

Not sure who made it, but when I was applying fluid film in areas I could not reach, I used a long tube I ordered that fit spray tip, it had a nozzle that sprayed a 360 degree pattern. I spun it around and moved to get the best coverage I could get. I will look for one

Have this but thought it would only work with cavity wax. Guess ima gonna give it a try.

Definitely successful! Thanks for the idea. Cap didn’t fit on spray can I ended up with this but was worth it!
