Crazy!
Needed a bell housing and started looking around, and I hit some wildness! $550, $300, $150, and $45.
well, seems like there’s some thing crazy going, maybe your just dealing with cruiserparts.com, but $45 please!

this will be coming soon and the I will hook up the transmition, and then ima gonna try to stuff this thing in there!.

I am appealing to you all to bear with my childish questions, and to HELP me in my endeavors!

Also got some bling to help my ‘end vision’!
 
So amoment if drama! I ordered this super bling thinking of the finished product. Hola to scrapdaddy and (s***, can’t remember but red and white 55) for their ability to find the man!
I ordered this thing from Bowfin and happened to be on right zenith because he had one that he was just about to finish. Psyched!
He is ready to ship out and the night before I lost my wallet.
He shipped it out anyway and told me to settle up when the new card came in! Hell yeah! The next week settled up and done!
So yesterday, ‘Heyo do you have the tracking number so I can tell when this will arrive!’ Bowfin- shipping told me delivered on the 2nd!
turns out that the address had a number off!
I got immediately went in search of that wrong number! Found it. No one home. Looked through the locked gate and what did I spy? A package that had my name on it!
Got all Ninja, hoped the fence and hoisted it back over and I was whole! Hella heavy package but I had to act deliberately!

I heard them taking about that at the last HOA Tree Committe Meeting. The West lake Porch package thief. All over the news down there, local police department is trying to set up some stings.

“West Lake man was nabbed in a not at all impressive sting operation. While trying to climb a 6ft fence and lifting a 40 lb 6ff object. Bystanders said that police just said “Give up in a pathetic voice and it was all over.”

That’s funny! I am thinking the same thing! I guess these things help me push head! All the years I have had a 55 I remember many things that I didn’t get and then when finally ready they werent around! Kinda like how I almost missed getting those delightful floor pans!

Got a bell housing on the way! That means that my next step should be getting an engine into the frame!!

Man! I can’t believe I have an engine inthe garage!!
 
Questions
Is that intake the stock one?
Did you relocate the alternator down there?
Why did you change the fuel rails? I think that’s what those black things are called that run along the top.
 
Not my engine. Found that pic to drool over, thought you might like it too. That’s not a factory intake, it’s one of those Chinese units some dumbass on here was getting all hot and bothered over about a year or so ago. 🙄
They don’t flow any better than a factory manifold, but they sure look the part, and appear to be lower profile than the truck manifold. I like the fuel rails, and the cleanliness of the intake.
 
I was thinking of just using the one I have. Maybe play with some metal and make a cool cover.
Of coarse I have no idea of what clearances I might need.
Trailblazer SS intake is going on the answer list if and when that question comes up.
