I don't know when Koito changed the embossed logo but I believe that an original '64 would have had a ring/circle around the "KOITO".

I can take a picture when I get home if you'd like to see the difference?

The Park Lamp Lenses on my 40 are clear.
I note that there are Amber Lenses available also.
Are the Clear Lenses still available?

SOR has them,i don't think they have just the lens anymore. So you would need to get the whole bib light assembly. Not sure but they might be available on other sites or used ones on IH8Mud.

RE: Dual Tail light Lenses

I have enquired about getting the dual Lenses moulded.
I have been quoted $2000 - 2500 to get the Mould made.
Apparently it has to be highly polished and requires a lot of work.
In addition to this initial cost, a minimum run of 100 pair is what the Company will do.

Should add - I got some of those clear park lights from SOR. Had to buy the entire assembly.
And those Koitos....late 70's at the very earliest, I think...but they are in nice condition (I bought them).

Found some Toyota 16" Rims (4 only). :)
Some of the Clips need replacing. Who sells a replacement that is similar to original?
They need a good clean up but are structurally sound.

Is this Vent Rubber shape is the same as mine?

The strip down has started and am developing a list of required replacement parts.
Anyone have the Terminal Insulators for the Wiper Motors available? or know of anywhere to source the part?

My guess is a 12/64 would be a 65 model and would have a alternator and not a generator. Separate voltage regulator was standard on both generator and alternator until the eighties. Not sure if anyone is making the rubber boot that cover the terminals on the wiper motor. I would be interested in some myself.
