Do I sense a LS swap in the future?

This is going to be an awesome build!!! Funny how alot of us end back up in an 80 Series!!!

@shellb if you were closer I would be loading up my extra set of 80 series steelies to complete the look! I have been waiting for an awesome Poverty Pack build to throw them on, you beat me to it!

Do they really have good Sushi in Boulder? I thought Sabaku in Moab was the only place in the Mountain West that could completely defeat those geographical challenges!

Oh now you’re making me jealous!! Love me some steelies!!

I’ll be rocking stock wheels. Have been cleaning up a set just for this rig.

In fact the whole build will be a bit of a sleeper. Exterior will be pretty much stock/factory. Got new oem front and rear bumpers a couple days ago!

We do have some decent sushi, but it’s the company, fun and associated trouble that makes it awesome!

Does the next owner count? :grinpimp:

Cool to see the family checking in!
Jason if you become the next owner of this there's going to be a side quest to the unnamed beach west of here first... Just sayin... You still have your 80?

I love that our little industrial park in Northern Colorado is turning into a high quality Land Cruiser hotspot. Great to see the build @Cruisers and Co @shellb !!
Oh it's fantastic having all the cool cruisers around all the time! If someone needs a set of drawers hit up ADGU

I could use some old fashion mind boggling awesomocity !

Johnny sadly no….. just lost the 80 in an accident before Thanksgiving. Pups and I came through unharmed but the cruiser was not as fortunate. On the hunt for a good replacement and accepting good leads ;)

Sad to start over after 19yrs with one rig but glad to be here on the hunt. Besides @shellb might start itching for another 7x series before ya know it 😂

That is sad but I am glad that you and the pups are ok! I hope this one is exciting enough for @shellb that he hangs onto it for a bit haha This one is going to have more power to put down than any 100 series but not quite as much as a 200 but...... the way it's being set up and with future supporting mods that are being developed in house we may be able to push it past the 3URFE in the future

Tearing Rosie's old motor down to help with the install video for the turbo that @Trapper50cal so keenly spotted 🧐 and found some carnage in Rosie's pan. Haven't quite figured out where this is from as it's plastic and the chain guides are good. Maybe a petrified seal from a previously repair, I don't know yet. Pick up screen stopped some of it.

Happy new year everyone! First project of the year is a rebuild and set of 3:1 Sumo Gears for Rosie's HF2AV! In the 2nd to last pic you'll see I've included part number 90250-05040. This is a pin that I have found crushed in multiple HF2AVs over the years and is cheap insurance to have on hand when building these cases. It locates the High Speed Output Gear Bushing onto the Differential Front Case.
