Me- “Man. Those did not take much weight”

Tire Dude - “ If you line up the green dot and it should not take much”

Me - “how can you tell where to put the weight, inside out outside with a bubble balancer?”

Tire dude - “You can do either but it would look bad on those black rims to have weights on the outside”

Lol

My M416 has 235/85/16 AT/KO and the Geolandar dwarf them.

But not as much as they dwarf the 700-15’s

The 235’s are plus 1.5” so they are a full 3” bigger.

The 2F is so happy to be lower rev.

Looks like these roughly translate into 31x9.5. Everyone has a preference but mine is more towards the skinny. In a 15 they only offer 30x9.5 or 31x10.5

I'm sold on the tire just by the looks and pattern. Now to see if Costco carries these. Let us know if your guy will give you commission for each sale you make and/or a rebate to your mud friends......

Never trust the translation via the tire code. Every tire is different. These are 1.5” taller by measurement from the center of the hub to the ground. That translates real world to 3” taller than my old 700-15’s

Look at them next to the same size 235/85/16’s on my trailer. They are at least an inch taller.

The skinny makes it steer and track so much better. Especially with the manual steering.

I’ve never liked the looks of 31x10.50’s

Pig likes em

At the swap meet I was talking to @nvrlose54 (Justin) about some factory soft top parts he brought me.

It’s the part that replaces the door frame. Was thinking about using them for a bikini top holder.

Anyway. I could not test them because I had to saw the posts off my hard top because they were “rusted into the tub”

Justin said “yeah. I struggled with those until I discovered the set screws”

Set screws ???

Fuuuuuuuuumeeeeeeee

They bend up when you pull hard enough SMH

I guess I never had a 40 that still had the screws. I usually saw about 1/2 these off but this is about 4/5 of them

I think I’ll sleeve them and put them back on since my top has so few attachments left
