We've got plenty of hubs Nolen. I've got a set of AVM's (just like warn) if you need em. They came off my 78

Any chance you can get those and my Skottle to Jrob today or tomorrow? I think he is coming up to my house tomorrow

I took the blasted Aisin hubs off for the Last time today.

Unreal

I did have some success this afternoon.

I got the brakes hooked up finally.

The lines are not as clean as I would like but they are fine.

Looks like a motherfxxxer.

You should just sell it to me at a great loss.

This thing would make you twitch madly then stroke out.

Lol

Damn some Warren hubs! He's going AVM bro!

Pirate guy suggested I may crack my firewall with the master only bloated to the firewall.

Looks like I'm going to have to build a base plate to spread the load a bit.

Good to know. One step forward and all.....

Thanks for the beer for hub trade. These AVM hubs are sufficiently patinaed to blend in.

I was afraid they would have armor all on them.

Damn! If I had thought about it I would have soaked them down in Armor All!

@JackA he must have had a later model. Mine has a support plate where the master is and the proximity of the vertical support strengthens it I'm sure.

I'm rolling as is.

So, today. Got to work on it from 4-6. Bodean's hubs went on with only a couple small glitches.

The passenger side birf would not come out far enough for me to get the OEM C lip on but I had this and it was fine. Drivers side I used the OEM thick clip.

That was easy. I'd have stroked out had I not had that c clip though.

The second issue was one of the hardened pins was broken off in the hub. I had to torch it to get it out. I tried to drill it but since it's a hardened pin that was not happening.

15 minute job. 1 hour but it's done. Win.

Beno sent me a bunch of random heater hoses today and my new
Fan belt.

I hope this alternator is good.

I started putting it all back together and I added a later model heater valve.

Mine did not have one. I think I have this right. Water hose behind Dizzy to heater core inside cab then core to Valve.

Valve to top of block.

I have 2 knobs that actually pull cables are on the top left in this pic.

I think the left one is the choke and I'm not sure what the other one was. I think it will line up with the heater valve though

Looks great.

I'm jealous of your purdy battery tray.

The 2 cables were choke and hand throttle. Both connected to the 1bbl carb.

Heater hoses are routed correctly. For future reference, the top heater hose should be molded 90° hose, which keeps it low to avoid trapping a big air bubble in it. When it's air bound, the heater won't get hot.
