Akarilo/Mryanangle - did your leather come from MetricTLC? They're different. The second photo has the factory 'pleat' on the seat and back.

First pic looks like and LX and the second appears to be a LC.

I love the seats Shane did for me BUT I never got the kick panels that hang below the front seats for the rear passenger feet area despite repeated emails. Because I went from Ivory to the brown I went ahead and fabricated some out of the carpeted pieces on the rear seats and it looks OK.

I really stuck up for Shane for a long time...but his customer service is very poor.
 
Shane? Shane who? There's no Shane around here. Gone.... And forgotten.
 
Not standing in defense, since it's not my job and some of the grievances are inexcusable, if accurate and have no reason to believe they're not.

That said.

Feb 3rd- Ordered heater and blower foam kits on webpage.

Feb 9th- Inquired about shipping status, via email to the sales@ address.

Feb 10th- received automated email notifying package had shipped and the USPS tracking numbers.

Feb 17th- USPS text notification that package had delivered.

For what that's worth to the thread.
 
I don't like what I've heard, but I'm not ready to give up on Metric. Hopefully he gets it together because he makes good products.

Delancy, sorry to hear that you didn't get your valance, or whatever it's called, either. If you want I can send you a picture of the carpeted once we made. It was the carpet off the back of the OEM rear seats so it looks right to me and it is probably more durable than the OEM "pleather". It is just we shouldn't have to fabricate something we paid for and should have come with the kit.

My best guess..., it's all about $$. When he needs them, you will see him come around, responsive and providing decent service. When he doesn't need them, you get this. Hopefully people will remember this next time he comes around with one of his 10% off, I'm finally needing to work again deals.

Let's find someone who "wants" to provide this service.

It's all about the money. Including the money that doesn't belong to him. He double charged me $1500.00+ for my order. Took a month and a half of calling and texting him daily to get a refund. My guess is he had already spent all of my money and had to wait for another order or two to pay me back. Totally screwed up my finances for a couple months. He didn't care at all and just get giving me excuses.

Oh and I'm still missing parts of my order over a year later.

But I love the leather!

Yeah, well, let's see if he'll just fix the issues that many of us have here with the products that we have received from him, or have paid for and not received.

Seriously, is he expecting us to risk purchasing from him after all this s***? It kills me that he is titling the discount as 'giveback' and expects us to leave a review of the transaction.

Put a f'n plan together Shane to address outstanding issues, then maybe you'll get some 'better' PR on this site to try and start selling items again.
 
Bummer reading this thread. I was just going to pull the trigger on a set of leather seat covers for my 100, but I will wait until he shows up to address his lack of commitment to customer satisfaction.

I posted back to him about my defective led lights I bought from him with no reply. And I still can't get the contact part of his web site to work it just kicks back saying not available
 
Maybe everybody should Facebook him with questions.
 
I did the whole call for months get the soap opera story excuses deal...paid $3.5k for a bunch of things and was worried I was totally scammed. In the end (MANY MONTHS) I ALMOST got everything BUT I'm here to say I wouldn't give this guy another dime and anyone excusing this behavior is giving this guy far too much credit. My guess is it's total ponzie situation and the less people that buy into it the slower the orders will fill until they just cease to be filled. A person with health problems doesn't have faulty email/no phone! If he has any honor he'd post that he cannot take orders because he's ill and make restitution with those having waited YEARS for parts! But he won't...it's too easy to be a cyber thief...
