Also, why are you pricing things you can get through any Toyota dealer with SOR?
A quick search. Enough to tell me it's was more than I wanted to spend
Bling brakes, and broken bolts
Finally sucked it up and acquired legit OEM style connectors to fix some simmering electrical issues.
Cycleterminal.com is the shizit.
Thanks Stump, I'm running low and couldn't remember where i got the last batch from.
I already have one, but its 13 years old, so I might pick up a good one. It works fine, just not the best quality.
I bet Dr. Ed got wood !!!!
My soldering iron got really hot too.
I have green handled set from cycleterminal, woks well and was only about $35. I've crimped hundreds of terminals with it and it’s still going strong.
I may have the same one... Mine seem bend the blade end down and, sometimes, the crimp gets crushed vs. bending into the wire. Though, that may also be the quality of the terminal.
I'm looking at the Astro brand ones on Amazon...
Those look nice, mine only do a few terminal types. Did you check out the crimping tutorial on cycleterminal?
Lex, I was feeling your pain!
I replaced the Upper and Lower ball joints, both TREs, and the inner and outer drag link ends on the tow rig this weekend.
Now let's see how much I can sell this thing for!!
Replacing dash bulbs on the LX450 and came across this switch on the back of the heater controls. It's labels "AM", anyone know what it does?
Centigrade or Fahrenheit ?????
Automatic or manual???? Manual comes standard, pay big $$$$ and they flip the switch and now you are upgraded to automatic????
Hell if I know, I would prefer manual. I might find out, I changed its position a few times and don't remember where it started...
Where has the group had the best luck acquiring front axle service kits? My 40 with front disc setup is leaking. It needs a full service, seals, bearings, hubs, etc. It has finally soaked my front brake pads.
