Pretty quiet in here... what are you working on?

I may have found a truck. Does anyone have recommendations on an "affordable," decent shipping option.
From where? It might be cheaper to just rent a truck and trailer and handle it yourself. The "in town" rates for both are super cheap if you pick up and drop off from the same place.

I actually am having second thoughts on it... I might look around a bit more. I think it's a fair deal but I might step back. For anyone wondering I was looking at this one.

got a few more pics which were ok... Someone put a 5 speed in it which is cool, there is some damage to the passenger door and minor rocker damage it seems... though he does have some extra doors. If it was closer Id look harder at what and all I have to do, but to ship it I need to be pretty sure. I am still gonna sleep on it, but my gut is rumbling a bit.

Finally got my Baja Designs dome lights wired up to the aux battery. Had mounted them a few months ago. #havinglittlekidsdoesthat

Added some JDM/aus spec vibes. Not sold on the window visors yet but we’ll see. They were cheap if I want to take the off. Wanted the side markers for DC drivers more than anything.

Intermittent coolant leak is back! Oh joy... It looks like the water pump has given up the ghost and there is also some beading of coolant on the left and right bottom corners of my radiator. So it looks like my next project is going to be a radiator, water pump, and I might as well do the fan clutch while I am in there. I was excited to move on to addressing the exhaust but new plans it seems. While I have all that stuff disconnected, I might also do the side push rod gasket and rebuild the power steering pump.

I welcome any advice from anyone who has tackled these projects - but it looks like a 2 banana job to me, albeit pretty time consuming.

I love it, but it's not check book that is paying for it lol.

I like it too. The passenger door is damaged with some minor rocker damage... he has 2 spare doors though. the underneath looks pretty good from what I can see. There is definitely some rust to deal with but nothing supernatural...It needs a new seat... the one in there is ok temporarily, but its got a hell yea rip... He said the door still shuts fine.. Bed looks pretty clean. There are two on FB I am looking at. I had a line on an FJ60 which would be cool, but I just really love the minitrucks... probably due to my comfort with the 22R/RE motors... I just know them so much better... and can park it in my garage and still fit my wife's car in. I wouldn't say no to the right LC project but I always look back at minitrucks.... I really only want an 85 and prior though. I don't want to do a SAS... that said I also have someone willing to sell me an 88 4runner with a SAS already done. Looks like a really good job on it too. Still....I would probably jump at the right minitruck. This one is close. 800 to ship it. That puts me in at 6800 on it.

With a lot of help from @JakeisbadatThis, @kouki, and friend Ryan, I finally have my LRA bumper properly mounted and winch installed. Rear brakes and parking brake adjustment done as well.

I seriously can't thank those guys enough. I never would have had the opportunity to get the bumper and winch on there if not for their help. Thanks guys!

Exactly why you join a club....$27 bucks a year is totally worth it! :poop: ... just realized that my dues are late!

Been building a diesel heater for my camping trip this weekend in an Apache case like seen in tons of YouTube videos. This is what I get for buying my fuel tank from AliExpress. It leaked on me on the first fill-up. Going to go buy a fuel can from Harbor Freight and just drill a hole in that to pass through a standpipe. Revisit it after my trip for a cleaner look.
