Finally getting my project wrapped up....on the list:
PAIR delete, easy!
Rear heater delete, fairly easy except for the bastard hose clamps near the firewall. New bypass hose plus hard pipe from t-stat housing.
Koso temp sensor install, easy except for the need to remove the alternator and bracket to get the elbow out.
New 150a alternator (Sequoia) upgrade using @Delta VS kit and wiring upgrade, somewhat easy, much easier with the kit!
New hoses and thermostat, easy since the rest was out anyway.
New starter since mine tried to lock up at Wolf Den.

Next up:
Replacing the exhaust hangers that I ripped apart at Wolf Den (that were new this past summer).
Final install of Koso gauge on column using @Trail Teq kit (plus the keyless entry upgrade too!)
Installing Rosen visors.
Pulling passenger flare to repair screw mount at mudflap so my @Outsane flair caps stay on.
Replacing the fan hub with a just ordered @landtank custom blue setup.
Changing the oil and trans fluid.
Mounting my @GGM front diff skid plate.
Not sure what else, but there's always something to do!

Since I literally just got this done on Sunday and did a couple mile lap around town before the last snow, I'm going to bail on the Flagpole run...not ready for a 700 mile round trip in a day just yet!

I really wanna see the visors, ive been eyeing them for awhile cause mine are toast, and rosens look so good
I should have them on this weekend...If the weather holds, I'll bring the 80 with the trailer to get you the 37's at the next meeting!

It's pretty funny...I'll bash it on the rocks and plow it through the mud, but I hate driving it in the rain after it's been cleaned up! She is a garage queen after all! LOL!

Got the Koso temp gauge up and running...showing about 4-6 degrees cooler than the ECT reading on the OBD1 reader tool that reads from the motor...will be interesting to see when I actually drive it under load where it ends up, but it's nice to have a gauge that I can rely on an honest reading rather than the needle gauge or having to cue up the tablet every time. Also...covers up my bright yellow ABS light with some useful info!

Also got the Rosen visors in...super easy, looking forward to trying these out on a sunny day!

And did a little fiberglass surgery on my passenger flare where I ripped the mount for the flap off...I needed to fix because this is how my flap delete cap connects as well...

Still need to install the GGM front diff skid plate (and paint up first)...looks beefy for a non-weld option.

PSA: When the instructions say to use the screw in ground anchors....use the damned screw in ground anchors!

This thing rolled around my yard from about 100 feet away and landed on top of my Suburban.

Feel like I'm finally getting somewhere with my intermittent electrical issues.

With all the rain we had this weekend, it looks like some water has made its way inside from the top of the windshield. The second pic is what I believe to be a pinched windshield seal, likely from an install from a PO. This could explain the cause of my electrical gremlins over the past month as there is a fuse box and a lot of wiring behind the glove box where the leak leads.

About to give Mike from Windshield City a call and see what he says. My worry is rust so I want to make sure this is done by someone who knows this stuff.

I actually caught this nonsense on my security camera. I can't believe it didn't smash any of the windows the way it flew across the yard. Total bonehead move. I did sink the 12 inch spikes through the base of each post and thought that'd be enough. :bang:

Just before rolling to the right and on top of the Suburban....

When I had my carport at my old house I used 3/8” ready rod with 2 toggle bolts I welded 1” extra to the wings of and drove them in the ground 1.5 feet. Then tightened them down on all 4 corners. The wind would still try and pick it up in a bad wind storm. But it stayed put! The tarp would rip off it first.

While you're in the evaluative mode, that trampoline behind the 'Burb could also be awaiting lift off under the right conditions.

My wife has the same inclination.

Looks great were you able to do the while wall or just that spot?

and how long till the place is a mess? I can never keep my work areas clean!
As of right now I just did that section of wall. Planning on having a company spray foam insulating the rest of the shop

time will tell lol, I've definitely been know to make a mess but my OCD doesn't let it stay that way for long

Roxul is the way. As long as it's going to be covered.

Ya I've used Roxul before, nice stuff. I don't think ill be finishing off the walls in the rest of the shop. Hence why I'm strongly leaning towards spray foam, plus i have some small gaps near the overhang that the foam would fill nicely

Went out to Mike at Windshield City for some new glass. It was pretty clear that water was getting inside from a bad install from a PO, both from the A pillar and the top seals.

Hoping this is the first step to finally solving my electrical woes

Took a marble-sized rock to the 100 windshield yesterday.
Left an 1-1/2" bullyseye right in front of driver.
Eff me.
The westound side of Route 7 bypass around Leesburg disintegrated over the winter and there are asphalt chunks and debris everywhere. VDOT hasn't done dick about it.
