Anything I need to about meals beyond the Museum night BBQ? Everybody on their own, or is there any pot luck type of thing? Thanks!

We'd be in for continuing the potluck night tradition on the trail. Gotta carry food anyway. Not a problem to add some to share.

I reached out to Kurt and he spoke highly of the purveyor of pig parts that I made contact with. He will do the pickup and I will place the order.

What they do offer for $18 a head (picked up);
Boneless Pork Ribs
BBQ Chicken
Potato salad
Backed Beans
Pasta Shrimp Salad
Fresh Fruit
Brownies

Is it a good idea to go for the Boneless Rib and Chicken combo or just the pulled pork????

Got a couple more days before I order.

Not really looking to buy another radio.

I wasn’t implying you should buy another if you already have one.

I was asking if we should let the others know that if Kurt @cruiseroutfit can spend any time on the trail with us and he brings a HAM radio he drops continual knowledge bombs that makes the trial runs so much better.

The inexpensive radio I linked will pay for itself in the first half hour on the trail with Kurt and I would consider a must have.

I was just going to cancel my reservation - your welcome to it if it will work. I'm going to be a no-show again this year.

Well sh@t! I'm going to have to cancel.

We got some bad news last week. Our beloved doberman got diagnosed with lymphoma. Chemotherapy will start the beginning of next week, and I need to be there. Sorry to miss out, but I need to see this through with however much time we have left with her.
I'll just have to live vicariously through all the pictures and updates.

Sorry to hear about your dog, we are taking our Boxer Samson for one last drive in the woods Friday the 14th before his last visit to the vet. We are both struggling with this one but it's time, amazing the bond you get with a good pet. Our thought are with you.

Sorry to hear about the fur babies issues. I know that when my boy Riley is called I'll be a wreak for weeks - or longer.
