Fudge......

I'm guessing that goes to something expensive, hard-to-find, or difficult to replace. Hopefully not the trifecta.

We’re gonna see how good that warranty is on those Nitro gears 😂

Wait a minute, didn't they just go out of business very recently?
Yes but ECGS did the work- called them and they're honoring their warranty (not sure if they still offer it or not)

Any reason to not go back with OE since that is stock ratio, right?

That's exactly what I'm doing. I got some (crusty on the outside) 4.30 diffs that I'm going to pull the gears from & install (with ARB lockers) into my 4.10 front (blown) and rear (noisy) diffs. Paid $400 total for the front diff rear diff, and T-case.

The gears I'm pulling still have great backlash readings, so as long as I can match the patterns I hope to be good.

I busted an OE 4.30 in Moab before going with Nitros. Not sure strength matters in the 100 front...just a weak design

Was that before installing a front locker?

I would expect gear strength (and also how much carrier bearing preload the diff is put together with) to make a difference - however, I don't disagree that it seems like the diffs could certainly have been stronger with a different design (all other things kept equal).

I don't think that there's too many other people grenading front diffs with lockers installed though, hahaha. Props on that! 🤣

Some things may just not be #PatchProof... just sayin.
I think there is some truth to this, if there's a week point @cruiserpatch will find it. Now with that said I've had no issues out of my gears for the past 7 years :flipoff2:.

glad ECGS is standing behind there work
