I have one, but I haven't seen it in YEARS! I actually got it when I bought out Midwest Landcruiser in 1990. I'm gonna have to do some thinking to see f I can even remember where I last saw it! D'oh.

The last brand new one (in your pic) was recently glued onto the new build. I don't want to try peeling it off the fresh paint.

How long would you need the original to get a clone made? Would the original be returned?

I thought this Cushion was for the front of the roof where the hood rests against the top but that cushion is larger and a different part number. It appears this is for the drip rail of an earlier cruiser, perhaps in back. Does anyone have a picture of how this cushion was installed

Greg, I've installed 2 of those on 78-ish era FJ40 hardtops in the last couple months. Seemed to fit & work fine as a hood bumper.

What's not fitting/working about them?

Yeah, not sure why you would a cushion there on back. I have not tried it on the front but I assume it may fit OK - It's just smaller than the typical front cushion.

I really think the drawing and reference to "REAR" are compounded errors. Somebody mistakenly labeled it as rear, then the draftsman drew it on the rear.

Note how the hybrid parts drawing posted above shows both the 63118 and 63119 parts, at opposite ends of the HT. But the parts catalog says "roof cushion, E-80" and "roof cushion, 81-84".

The 81-84 style appears to clip across the bottom of the roof rail, and the E-80 version just snaps onto the front lip.

its for when you completely open the hood and let it rest against the roof... i got one, but havent installed it yet... dont see the reason for using one on the back though..

Here is a picture of mine installed on amy 10/69 FJ40. This bumper was purchased last year from a dealer and the number that came up was the 63118 number for the front and not the 63119.

I purchase a set of bucket seats out of what I was told was a 74. This was around 82. It still has the plugs but my kids like playing with when they were little. I installed head rests something in the eighties and stored the plugs away. Wasn't until last years I found them again. Thirty years and I still have the full set.

Here's a good one. I was going to try to make y'all guess what it is, but I'm in a good mood...

Usually, these go missing for us 69-9/72 guys. I'm going to have to fabricate one for my passenger side.

This little metal guy is going to be a project unto itself.

Side note, if anyone needs part numbers for these wipers I can hook you up. They were about $7.50 US ea. from a local deal. I think there were 44 left in the states. I bought 4.
