Thanks! The story goes the old man only used it at his lake house to basically move jet skies around. He says it spent most of its time in the boat house barn. It still has the original radio, OEM tools and all the headrests among other things! Very excited and feel like I got a good deal.

Nice 4Runner, looks like it is in better shape than the other one. Now you don't have to spend $$ on a new 22re and can outfit it even better. Looks really clean.

Yeah that's the plan or just pocket the extra. There are a few body flaws from age, but other than that it's pretty well preserved. I may even be able to get it tomorrow! :D:D:D

Got It! More pics to come.

So I think the fuel pump is going out cause it started to run rough 45min into my drive home from buying it. Gonna drop the tank and check. I'd love everyone's thoughts overall.

I think that I would not be happy. Hope it's something simple!

No need to do that. Just lift up the passenger side rear seat bottom. Remove hatch under the carpeting.
Awesome to know!!!!!!!

I'm not, but it is what it is. It feels fuel related, so hoping!

Just finished our expo trailer build, except for testing the lights tomorrow. Then up for sale it goes to help fund the 4R build!

Will lack of back pressure be bad for the 22re? Thinking stock manifold, no cat & flow through muffler. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Toyota OEM fuel pump at cost is $330ish! Ebay has some "OEM" ones for $125ish. Any recommendations or experience? Thanks!

Ya, Google is your friends. Search on "Denso Fuel Pump."

I bought my last one from http://www.autopartswarehouse.com. Other options.
http://www.oscaroparts.com
http://www.myautopartswholesale.com
http://www.densoproducts.com

Several part numbers come up, #951-0012 is the one listed at http://densoautoparts.com. All are listed as direct fit, and I have no idea if one is better than the others. The prices are different ($85 - $145). Denso is the OEM provider. Other numbers are:

950-0150
W0133-1606602
W0133-1606574
W0133-1851056
W0133-1606513
W0133-1601284
950-0183
950-0171
W0133-1841263
W0133-1602433
951-0007
951-0004

Pick one.

That's great pappy, I def appreciate the info. I was also curious if anyone has had a bad experience with a non-oem fuel pump. Ya know sometimes there's a just a don't buy (fill in the blank) as a non-oem part. However like you said your not sure if one is better than the other.

Guess I'll just gamble! :D

Well, it appears that 951-0012 is the recommended part. I'm running W0133-1606574 with no issue. Regardless, I don't think you can go wrong with Denso. I had a pump from NAPA once, and it didn't last.

^^^ Perfect, thanks!

New ride looks really good.

Where did you get a hold of those factory service manuals by chance?
