Ok so I got the tires mounted finally, KM2 31x10.5x15. The wife and I decided to go with the OEM chrome rims vs grey steelies. I first had the old tires removed and then I did a cleaning of the inside and anywhere the tires will touch.

Now they are mounted and I'll do a complete clean one rim at a time. I've decided to do a lift so I'm hoping to order and install that soon.

Ok so question... I was getting ready to order my ARB 2"+ lift and then realized they don't show a shock for a IFS lift. Who ordered what and from who? Please give a recommendation as I can't seem to find one online for some reason. Thanks all!

Ordered a front and rear bumper from Blue Lake Offroad today! Looks roughly like this:

Minus the top light guards.

No tire carrier.

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

The new fuel pump and screen did NOT fix it. Once it's warmed up sputter away till it dies, over and over!

Any ideas???

How long does it run before it dies? Have you changed the fuel filter? Will it restart right away?

PO had the dealership change the filter in the last 500 miles. It will start back up, but I have to coax it, pump the gas and it's very rough like I'm running on fumes. Runs for 10-15 driving from initial startup before having problems and runs perfect before hand.

I agree it sounds temp related, but I just no idea what. I really need my truck, so I think I'm gonna limp it to the dealership tomorrow and get their thoughts.

I would agree Kris, coolant temp senor would be easy to swap if you still have the other 4runner,

I do still have the other one. Coolant temp sensor could do this...seems weird (as if I would know). I'll try this first before going to the steelership tomorrow. Thanks!

The other fuel pump did look rough though.

After she's running normal, gonna need to address the internal tank rust. Found a replacement tank online for about $130, or maybe strip and re-seal the old one. Guess it doesn't matter right now.

I had an '88 that ran like a champ cold and like a dog when warm.
The knock sensor ended up being bad. Basically it retarded the timing back.
Mine had the CE light on.
Have you checked for codes yet?
