Rescued my dad from potential impalement one day couple months ago. Boy do I have to keep my head on a swivel with him these days.
Glad you’re doing well Don! Gravity sucks

had a little fall, spent a week in Hospital, a few broken ribs, yada, yada, yada. Home now getting better, off the oxy, feeling stronger everyday , a ways to go. Stay off Ladders after 70!

Jeez Don, glad you're ok. Yeah, ladders are starting to seem sketchy to me as well. Truck looks tits!

Reminds me of when I was on a ladder on top of a driveway covered in 'golden seal' (small polished rocks glued in) attaching the light by the second story windows here, and my brother (RIP - 2011) was holding the bottom from slipping.

Well, it did slip, and he took the bottom rung in one shin (standing on the other, then to keep me from falling. we were both over 300lbs back then.

Dumb shi... tuff. We built my first fj40 together. Miss him still.

(why yes, those are sliding glass windows on the second floor. No I didn't install those, and the replacements had not yet arrived.)

I broke my clavicle last fall. Had surgery a couple days later. A week later I took the 40 to Moab. Sometimes it hurt, but it definitely lifted my spirits. I admit broken ribs might have changed that trajectory.

They used to wrap it and 💩. And figured it didnt do anything, so had me Bro shove it back in and they dont even wrap RIBS anymore😮😲😳🧐🤔! Was ****ing painfull but back to work light duty week later! Mine were cracked not broken. They say cracked is more painfull. Cough, Fart, Piss, 💩, move it hurts! It SUCKED. Time will heal. You will get better.

That sounds like it could have gotten a lot worse in a hurry...
