Holy treasure trove!

@CenTXFJ60 gave Old Landy a good check up. He had his yoda wand feeling the force. The mediclurin count is high with Old Landy. He even got on top of Old Landy.

The night and following morning was not all about Old Landy, it was also about family and friends...talking about Andres and Old Landy. We ate and drank well. A hot meal as Andres liked to have when he got off the trail for a while.

Good times @CenTXFJ60 and @CaptClose. Thanks for being around us, and in particular the boys. Means a lot. Never disappointing.

What a time capsule! There are enough parts in Old Landy to recoup your original investment plus your travel expenses, if that was your desire. Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing OL in person one day. I really love the smile on Cowboy's face!!

@76 FJ40 I hope (and as we chatted at SAS2) you can stay close to @Cowboy45 on his journey. He would really appreciate it. Plan is to use as much as we can from the bounty as it is what Andres would do. Other components that do not get used will most likely become DNA that can live on in other trucks for those that need them. More on this later.

Not many of us 9n here know the true history of our Cruisers. Happy to see this one continue in excellent hands. I know this play a huge part in both of your boys futures. Thanks for sharing fellers.. Keep up with the documents Keaton, they will be priceless to you down the road.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned before.
That load body is exclusive to the Land Cruisers assembled at the Mercedes Benz factory, in East London South Africa.
If I have the story correct all the Cruiser were sent here partially assembled and load Bodys made here.

Would love to know about this... research time! Thanks.

Exactly! I also want to say thanks to you Michael, because you were a big part in getting me 45's, my dad for showing me how to work on cars and getting me the bug, to Jim and Ryan to for always answering my questions and respecting me like an adult even though I'm a kid, to Casey to I didn't know him till SAS2, but I'm glad I did he has taught me so much and given me a different point of view on these woderful rigs, and to everyone else here on MUD for guiding me thus far. :);)

Grant- any additional source information you can share? Do you have a connection to the company in some way? Curious why Mercedes Benz.
