All those changes mentioned previously with distributor, wires, spark plugs, etc…Still something wasn’t quite right.
I know the choke is a little lazy, but then I got to looking at manifold bolts and started to wonder.
Sure enough 4 were not torqued correctly (or at all)
Tightened them up and the cruiser runs better than it ever has!
Finally something going in the right direction!!

Not too much got in on here. Been daily driver and lovin’ it.
Just a new heater core. Old one started leaking.
Piece of cake to change with these old rigs.
Used Siless closed cell foam all around it to keep is nice and snug.

Had a little free time Sunday so finished the 4th wheel well.
Removed most all of the undercoating, acid wash, rust reformer, prime and paint.
Messy, but in a good place for any future needs.
Will do floor boards another day.

Heck yeah!Picked up at least 15 hp.
Add stickers for mo' powah!
‘Edelbrock Signature Series’ stickers were always good for a verifiable 10hp!

Glad you got the mouse poo out of there.
One thing I have wondered about these awesome seats - what if you cross-connected the springs? At least for the driver side? I think it would lead to less sag. What I mean is that those springs run front to back, right? What if you added a connection to the spring next to it, at least in the butt area?
