not starting? like turn the key and nothing happens/ no solenoid click or anything or the starter engages and turns the engine but it doesn't start.

It's not that price. I asked him where he came up with pricing and he said Google. Just make him an offer and he'll take it.
I didn't get a good look at it because his garage isn't well lit, but I know there is some rust. I think he said it was a Pennsylvania truck.

it could be as simple as a battery needing replacement, Fusible link on its way out, poorly rebuilt starter where the contacts rotated and dont make solid contract with the plunger(becomes and issue with use). Anymore details on the intermediate no start conditon?

FJ40 Frame and rear axle for sale. $300 OBO
Came with a 40 my dad bought and it is in the way. Someone did the shackle flip in the front and it is spring over axle. Frame is straight and rust free but does have some miscellaneous brackets on it and some stuff has been torch cut off. Rear diff is removed but included. Ring and pinion gears in great shape but spider gears are worn out, great candidate for a lunchbox locker.
4 wheels and tires included, 3 are matching white wagon wheels, 1 is a chrome wagon wheel
I’m keeping the front axle for my 40, but all I really need is the housing and maybe diff. So if someone needs parts I’ll sell parts off it.
Will also trade for a good condition 9.5” diff for a 40 and a little cash.

Kind of a long shot, but I have one mounted to an FJ60 wheel and was planning to get a 33x10.50 mounted on it. Can ask the shop to save it. Holds air but I've never had it running on a truck, and it's very old. I can't make it to the Christmas party but a Charlotte member who's going could bring it.
