Edit: compressor sold; still have the air tools and hose reel

New Northstar air compressor (can still be warranty registered AFAIK), air tools, accessories - mechanic "starter kit" :) Family discount for members. A familiar story - good intentions, plans made, list purchased - turns out garage logistics and getting ghosted by my electrician/plumber/helper guy knocked the legs out from under this stool. My hubris is your gain.

I will separate but trying to move as a package deal. All the air tools are pro grade, 20+ years old but weren't used much, they made me either the parts counter guy or the Service writer guy back in the day because I went to college. Oh and couldn't wrench worth a sh!t :hillbilly:

Make me a reasonable offer, can help load/deliver if it's greater Charlotte area. Many more pics and details in the CL Ad:

I bought these OzTent chairs for my wife and I to use at the F1 Race in Austin 2 weeks ago. We only used them for the 3 day event; so they were used one or three times each…. Whatever is more honest. They are the lightweight and heated (sorta) version of the King Goanna and cost me just under $200 each. I will sell them for $100 each and throw in the unused heat packs.

I’ll take it! Hopefully buying a new truck in the next day or so and my in-bumper LX hitch is only rated to 5k but the underbumper class III ones are rated for more.

Before I drive down to Charlotte from Durham.. anyone driving from CLT area to RDU area this week?

@Hokie LX & @roadstr6
I am driving from CHarlotte area to Raleigh tomorrow morning at 8am.

Dave, I can pick it up on my way if you leave it out.
Hokie, I'll be near the arena and stadium around lunch time.

I will be working from home, so I will be here. I’ll go ahead and get it out of the scrap pile and ready for pickup.

Chris @Hokie LX is not responding to mud. Sam @S.CarolinaFZJ80 and I do not have his digits. Is anybody in Raleigh able to pick this hitch up from Sam today around noon and get it to Chris?

EDIT: so all it takes it hate mail...they finally called me back. Precision Torque Converters makes a new replacement for the A3xx transmission. The problem is, they list the same torque converter for the Land Cruiser, LX470, Tundra, Sequoia, and several sedans. Toyota, of course, has different part numbers for each, which doesn't rule out having the same part for more than one model.

Anyone have any direct experience sourcing new/replacement torque converters for the Land Cruiser/LX470? I do know that the 2nd gen 80 series (95-97) and the 98-99 LX470 uses the same unit, even though the engine/transmission are different. I have not been able to verify the later year (00-02) 1st gen LX470 uses the same unit.

Anyone have a recommendation for a local source for torque converters? I need a aftermarket/rebuilt unit for my 2000 LX470 (the Toyota part is NLA).

The national rebuilders have only one distributor that I've found: L&R in Winston-Salem.

I'd check with Georg at Valley Hybrids.
