Howdy all. Looking for a roll bar (OEM or aftermarket) for my 1977 40 Series Land Cruiser. I am located in Northern Virginia. Willing to split the cost of shipping if we make a deal. Cheers!

The same day he joined MUD he posted in the 40 tech section looking for a cylinder head and places to buy Cruiser parts (like those are hard to find on here). He got pointed to the classifieds and I pointed him to the club sub. He posted his want ad and didn't come check us out. Maybe he will in the future. But the MO of guys like this is they're trying to get what they want for their broken junk and be done. Minimal effort, no contribution. I could be wrong, but we'll see.

This is leftover from the power steering conversion to Jack's 1978 FJ40. The center arm was rebuilt using an OEM kit supplied by Onur at $247 and has easily less than 500 miles on it. The center arm itself goes for $47 for an aftermarket unit from Cruiser Outfitters. $75 or a very nice bottle of scotch.

Is there a lower cost alternative rubber cushion to use for the rear tire carrier for a 77 and up FJ40?
I am having a hard time justifying paying 60-70 dollars for a rubber cushion.

You could try a universal Energy suspension bump stop but it won’t have the cutout for the tube
