1994 has 2 o2 sensors, side by side. Same part number for both. Pain in the arse to change.
/QUOTE]
I just swapped in 2 new sensors on my '94. Hardest part was unplugging the harnesses. 20 min job at most.

Any improvement in drivability with the new o2 sensors in your 94'? I just got a intermittent code 25 (lean) and according to my records my o2 sensors are now 14 years old with 163k miles on them.

Check out this link (only for 93-94 OBD1 systems) I followed the instructions in this link and have not had any issues on my 93 for over a month. Also picked up a 1mpg increase in fuel economy.. Good luck using these planer style O2 sensors will save ya lots of money.

Nothing that I noticed from the butt dyno. Not sure about any mpg improvements either as I have barely gone through a tank of gas since I changed them - can't seem to get my arse out of airplanes at the moment. Will know more by the end of the month.

I don't know how the Mr. T nuts are, but my OEM nuts were a crumbly mess. You might want to use something that won't corrode as easily, like stainless, brass, etc.

Any updates on this. I need a left o2 sensor. Thanks

The left one is nla from Toyota and the kit that @OGBeno mentioned is nla as well.

Left sensor? Huh? 😁

I bought both upstream and downstream sensor from Amazon and they are made by Denso.

The 93-94 use a different configuration than your 96. The 93-94 O2 sensors are side by side, each sensor monitors 1 bank of 3 cylinders.
Interesting, so which O2 sensor does the ECU uses as an air fuel ratio sensor?

Both, as I stated each sensor provides feedback for three cylinders.
Gotcha, apologies for the ignorance :bang:

You need the replacement kit for a 1994: 89465-60110
Do you know where I can get this from?
Searching online, it’s been discontinued.

I was able to find the NTK on rock auto, is that good enough?
I have a 95 btw

Just adding for future reference 95-97.

Front (Before Catalytic) O2 Oxygen Sensor "Upstream" Toyota part # is 89465-69085 (Denso Part # 234-4157)
Rear (After Catalytic) O2 Oxygen Sensor "Downstream" Toyota Part # is 89465-69105 discontinued as of this posting date (Denso Part # 234-4153)

Just bought two of these for my 94. $165 each.
NTK is Japan manufactured and the OEM for the 93/94. They have the short pigtail and it’s long enough for both locations.

1995 1996 1997 O2 Oxygen Sensor P/Ns
^See quoted post for numbers.
(Should make this easier to find than when I looked...)

Anyone have numbers for the associated nuts, gaskets, pigtails or any other little bits that go along with these for the 95-97s?

Link Below also mentions parts needed for 95-97 if you scroll through it

Well there's this from @OGBeno...
1995-1997:

89465-69085
89465-69105

These will come with gaskets but will not come with any hardware. 90179-08059 x4 will net you the lock nuts for the studs. If you need new studs and can get the old ones off, 90116-08211 will work perfectly.
But the -69105 is NLA; the Denso # takes care of that.
Nuts are okay. :)
But the studs are also now NLA...

Bummer. Maybe there are other studs that work. 💡
The thought had occurred to me. And here's another thought that occurred to me: Maybe there's someone here who might know that P/N off the top of their head, or be able to find out in two seconds flat. 💡

I’ve been throwing a mess of codes for years (P0125, P0140, P0141) and would just clear them thinking it was my leaking exh. Finally fixed the leaking exh (gasket was finished between the muffler and tailpipe on the Borla catback system I purchased in 2013). After fixing it yesterday, I took it for s spin and it threw a P0125 right away. Reading up on that, I’m guessing I need new O2 sensors. I also replaced the cats with some Magnaflow units in 2013 as well, and likely Denso O2 sensors around the same time. If it is indeed the sensors, I would be surprised that they only lasted 10 yrs.
