These guys, or someone claiming to be them, are posting ebay and craigslist ads for trucks they don't own in Japan. Have they given up on the 79 series scam? They never updated their website after SEMA, it still reads "Available October 2017" and "12D 18H 45MN 36S Before Sales Begin at SEMA, Las Vegas". No one ever posted on their forum. So weird.
Why scam people with vehicles they know can't be driven legally here in the US when you can scam them with s*** that can?

Yeah, it would be different if the rolled in here with all the legitimate approvals and certifications approved by DOT, EPA, and NHSA, other than the exemption they are using to “test” it and put bro wheels on.
But, they do not and have had pretty vague claims on how they intend to make these unicorns street legal.
If there was a way to do it, without prohibitive cost, it would have been done by now.

The only thing I would change about this is add that the "random guy" that posted up pics of the truck is the same guy posting ads on Mud, CL, and eBay under the name PappBrothersAutomotive. Go search for posts in this thread by @InTheKnow . Posts #614, #619, and #632 for those who are too lazy. I wonder how many Mud accounts the Papps hold...
