So the buyer is paying approx $20k for shipping and brokerage fees? And the seller is never out of pocket any money. Hell of a deal!
BTW, good luck on getting a vehicle shipped from Japan to the US and through customs in 30-40 days. Especially a Land Cruiser or Land Rover. My 70 Series sat in customs while they checked it over with a magnifying glass for 45 days!

I’ve only imported one but Land Cruisers And Land Rovers get a little extra attention because of fraud in the past. People swapped VINs on newer Land Rovers and passed them off as over 25 years.
People in Japan are TMO-ing 25+ year cruises all the time. Ships on Uncle Sam’s dime, but as long as the VIN and year checks out, pretty painless process

Up pops brother who is the president of LC America and claims his brother was never part of it.
Brother proves to be gifted with a silver tongue but can still prove nothing

Holy crap pics of an actual truck in the US (did not see that one coming)
Some skeptics disappear but some are steadfast
Anyone can come check out the truck to see it is real
People point out that these vehicles aren't that hard to get here for epa testing but to keep past a year is impossible unless it passes everything.
