Damn sure is slow! Sure was a poor excuse as an "upgrade" to the venerable 22. It is fun however, took my family to dinner tonight in it and have been all over town this week. Needless to say, they were not pleased when they saw we were leaving the 200 in the driveway this evening so I could row gears . Also picked up a set of the factory SR5 aluminum rims today for $150 including three center caps! Pics below after Castrol Super Clean and two applications of Kleen Strip paint stripper. Plan to polish tomorrow with Mothers.
Installed OEM SR5 aluminum wheels. I think they turned out great but I'm concerned about leaving them uncoated. I love the look but I'm thinking of adding 1" spacers to get the aggressive stance back.

Great that you went back with stock wheels. Love that truck. Just my 2c, but leave the tires tucked under the fenders, completes the older Toyota look.
Man that's nice. I looked for a nice one like that for quite a while then I eventually caved and bought my 05 instead. I looked at a lot of supposedly "rust free" trucks that needed rocker panels and cab corners. Of course if I had one it would be my winter rig anyhow. I've said many times if my 89 was an extended cab I would have restored it instead of demoting it to plow/yard truck.
