that is some cheap insurance for keeping the oil and grease separated....

<sarcasm> now all we need is a vendor to copy the design and sell it for half price </sarcasm> :grinpimp:

Yeah- cuz $7.49 is way too much to pay for quality pieces from a reputable vendor.
(sarcasm hat off)

Saw those in person at Mudrak's last month. Marlin is one creative guy. But y'all knew that.

Great product. I know Twiddy installed a set just recently

there's a similar thread on another site and some mini trucker is complaining that they're "kinda spendy"! what a friggen tool! maybe he outta try pricing them from toyota before complaining. or maybe it was geigers alterego?!

either way, good stuff. i'm gonna order a few sets to keep in stock next time i place an order with marlin.

I've just ordered 3 to be installed next week with new Longfields.

Thanks for the info, the beauty of this forum is that you always find something that you can't live without ;)

A bonus:
The new seal is also more tolerant of errors in centering the knuckle, so you may not need to worry about the SST for shimming the knuckle.

I wasn't complaining that they were too expensive....hell - I'd pay $15 a piece to know that the axle seal wouldn't leak...

I was implying that Marlin comes up with some good ideas and then someone else copies and sells it for cheaper...that is all...

7$ is spendy? you can tell he's a mini guy, not a cruiser guy. we can't buy any cruiser part that cheap ;)

only complaint i have is getting ahold of anyone at marlin's shop

Online order system work there? :)

Ordered a handful last week... hoping to see them soon!

I'm going to play around with them, assuming everything works out (and shows up ;)) as I presume they will... CruiserOutfitters will carry them as an upgrade to our knuckle kits

Will the seal be as easily removed as the OEM, or whatever, when time comes to replace it?

Doesn't matter if it does or not, you usually destroy any seal when removing it! :D

I like Poser's thought, I worried when I did my knuckles that I did not get it centered correctly.

Timing on the new seal could not be better...drivers side is leaking.
Just ordered a pair.

btw, online order took a while.

Thanks Marlin

My new "bastard" axle well have them in it next week:beer:
