So I had my sister cut these birds out for me and I'm giving it a go,,,, I like it, but I don't know if I like it enough to keep it. We'll see.

Been a while, been doing little projects.

Permanently mounted the GMRS from the ashtray to hidden inside the dash with only the microphone visible, but haven't decided where to mount the mic yet.

Decided to drill a hole in the roof for NMO, and the cable tucks in nicely hidden under the foam padded headliner

Also rebuilding both axles and differentials as well as regearing to 4:88, I have these two wires sticking out now.

Got it all buttoned up and took the dogs down to the river, a favorite I guess cause they always ask me to go there.

Gearing is noticeable and so much better, and a vibe I suspected was the rear driveshaft but wasn't after rebuild, turned out to be related to the front diff. Buttery smooth at speed now.

That is a cool "grill, stove, fire pit" (what ever it is) set up.

Just a propane firepit in an ammo can, we are in stage II fire restrictions and camping just isn't the same without a flickering flame at night

I saw a booth at the Overland Expo selling them. I thought it was a good idea, but that I could make one...as with everything, I'd rather waste a weekend building something that I could just go out and buy.

i know the paint isnt a match, but it'll keep the bare metal covered till i get some more 4E9 mixed
