I was just looking for a leak today, honest

I found it!

And in the process found a good crack that needed repair

I've given the rig a good look over and baseline after I got it, but this is the kind of thing that pops up.

I'll find other surprises along the way I'm sure, but this is a good solid rig and I'll happily deal with these little things

Hi
Can you please specify a bit more precise where and how you found the leak? Was it that crack ore something additional? I recognize the location of the crack, but I'm unable to recognize where this picture of your fixed leak was taken.
I have a leak somewhere in the same area, but was unable to locate it up to now.
Thank you. Regards Ralf

Sure, one of the pics is actually inside the fresh air tunnel,, that houses the wiper assembly ect, you can see screws driven through the bulkhead for various mountings inside, one of them was driven right into the welded seam for the fresh air intake "dam", it separated the lap joint, that's the black sealant you can see, I wish I thought to take a before pic.

Hope that helps you.

After getting it back together this morning, I had to go for a drive.

Visited an old CCC camp, was the main camp for my neck of the woods, not much to take pics of, but its neat to walk around and see what is there, like stone lined pathways outlining among other things the wall tents they lived in.

Installed the rest of the ABS panels from australian door cards, I highly recommend them for either o.e. Masonite blanks or these ABS versions.

Jumpseats should be back from upholstery soon, so that's next.

And bedliner sprayed on the floor once the chemical is back in stock at the shop.

One bit at a time

Those ABS panels are really nice. I tried them before on a previous cruiser I had.

@RHINO, I am sorry, I just got caught up on your thread. Great work! I want to take the Pickup for an epic road trip someday. We should meet up in AZ!
