Sorry you don't have any trips planned but glad you are still interested. :D

I asked Ken in June at Rubithon about his bumper, he told me he wasn't doing much till after SNT.
he said something new might be coming out, but he had other things taking top priority.

Wouldn't the new thing be those interior cargo racks to go over the wheel wells?
What's that?

Ya that is it. Depending on the price, they look like they could be a good addition.

Hey Mo, how about a rear bumper/cargo holder combo deal ?

Update, I have been messing with the latch set up. I am not happy with it right now so I am messing with the geometry of it to make it work better. I will post up with and when I get it figured out.

Damn Mo. Anal bastid!
Thank God you werent in charge of the Space Program - we would be sending the first US astronauts to the moon next year!

Thanks for the vote of, um, confidence Alan. It is actually not be being anal, which I am, it is me making sure the damn thing works! :bang:

Dude, from what I know about your work and ethics - only the best will do!

Good luck with the latch setup Mo. After looking at yours I now see how I could hit my latch coming off of a shelf with my Hanna bumper.

Moved the geometry around a little and it is working much better now. Now I can beat on it awhile and make sure it stays that way.

Honestly the chances of hitting it on the Hanna are very slim but I like overkill. :hillbilly:

Thanks for the update. Glad you're making sure you're design is top notch and durable! I'm patiently waiting... put a dent in my bumper over the weekend at JB, matches the dent on the other side.

Thank you for the patience. I definitely wanted all to know from the get go that I refuse to cobble something together just to sell a few. I honestly would rather not make and sell any than to have a bunch of my buddies with pieces of crap they don't like.

Hey Mo, where do you get those plastic blocks to help support the tire swing when closed? I wouldn't mind adding one of those to my bumper.

Those are Delrin, a very hard plastic that you can cut and machine like a hard wood. It is not cheap, IIRC I paid $90 for a scrap section. It is durable and pretty easy to work with, you can turn it on a lathe, machine it on a mill and cut it with a carbide mitre saw blade and it doesn't melt like most plastics. I got it at a place called Paragon Plastics.

Mo,
Do you have a pic of how the dual swingouts will look?
How much would it be if you did the cutting and installing?

Sorry Alan, I don't have any pictures of how the dual swingout would look as I have'nt done one yet. I would photo shop one for you but I don't have a clue how to use it. ;p

PM sent on the install. ;)
