Lol this is for sure harrowing is just been a much longer journey than expected. The only other projects I would be looking at is an old celica or a te72 Corolla. But old toyota 4x4's are too hard to come by in decent condition for decent prices for me to start overPatience always wins out toward getting what you want.
OTOH, if it takes too long, it is easy to change project directionSeveral times
And then get another project

True but I got this for free. It goes into enough detail for me. I have plenty of wrench time elsewhere so this manual will mainly help with specs and the 3spd to 4spd swapThats a Haynes manual, and while pretty good, its not the Factory Service Manual, which is much more in depth.
ready to see the Pig ion your possession.
Lol it's about the journey and not the destination, right?Wow, good luck! This thread is already at 4 pages and you don't even have the Pig yet!
It's a copper tone. It's an original toyota color but it's not the original vehicle color. Originally it was more orange. And yeah it has a couple of small spots but nothing major. And I'm getting it for 1k...ill just leave that there for everyone to cry over lolWith the exception of just a couple minor areas, that thing is in exceptional condition! What is that color? Is that just severely faded red or is it a copper tone?
A lot of people would pay a decent chunk for a starting platform that clean - wow!
Be prepared to sink a pile of money into the Piggy. This forum is good group therapy when you are.
Oh yeah, that must be it!What I didn't realize when getting into this whole pig mess, is that @scrapdaddy and @J Mack were talking 1970's $5k.........
