Man....what a labor of love.... Don't ever think of selling..

Thanks, Tim gets all the credit for the metal and paint work. The end is getting closer! No plans to sell for sure.

Tim used an 1/8th inch, 45 degree bead roller to make the raised ribs in the driver's side floor. They match closer to the original square-end ribs than the Real Steel panel which had rounded ribs. Before picture of the panel.

Tim is using Everglass reinforced body filler (gray) as the first coat on the corners and around the doors. This product is very durable and will resist cracking due to the stress from slamming the doors. The yellow product is 3M Platinum Plus body filler. The driver's side corner still needs a thin coat of the 3M product. Final prep today and then into the paint booth over the weekend for primer.

Paint is done! The Fashion Green is on. Missed getting some pictures of it going on. The primer is now on. Seam sealer goes on tomorrow. Then the Lizard Skin sound deadener. Followed by the LS insulation on Monday. Tuesday the tinted Raptor Liner goes on. Thursday buffing out of the Fashion Green. If all goes well I can pick it up Saturday.

Mat, this thing sure looks great. You'll love the raptor liner. Can't wait to see you sitting inside the cab. You know spring is just around the corner....

Wow looks amazing! I may have missed it but did you go single stage or base clear on the paint. I've got to paint mine in the next month or so and I'm trying to decide which way to go. Thanks!

The paint is PPG Deltron 2000 base coat, clear coat in Toyota's T303 Fashion Green.
