Aftermarket. AC wasnt an option in 72. However, talking to a longtime cruiserhead who lived in AZ in the mid-late 90s, he saw at least half a dozen cruisers with an overhead AC. My guess is that a dealer or aftermarket company offered these.
Not much done this week, been tending to projects I have been neglecting recently. I did order a set of seal kit from Georg at valley hybrids for my 62 parts that I am going to put on for the front disc conversion. Waiting for them to come in and will try to have a locals wrench day in the next month or so.

Seal kit came in later in the day yesterday rom Georg, thanks G! Also, picked up a spare pig today for parts- I will use the hood and at least front seat from it. It is in much better condition than mine and the hood is nice with no fixed ding.
What is fixed ding?

My current hood has a ding that has been fixed. You can kinda see it in post 7. The white is a different color. It looks like something fell on it and impaled the hood- on the underside there is the point of whatever fell onto it.

Just an update. I havent really done much with her, except get some goodies.

4.11s from an FJ62- check
FJ55 fram extenders from Awl_TEQ- ordered and should be here in a week or so
and my personal favorite, Mercedes OM617 with adapter with a H55 and tcase. - bought, working on transportation
After riding in Tucker's truck and seeing his conversion, I knew this is the way I wanted to go. May end up selling the 49K original mile engine eventually. Will try to install the drivetrain this summer

Ordered some hub caps from cruisercorps.com http://www.cruisercorps.com/wheels/hub-caps/hub-cap-set-comes-as-a-group-of-4-oem.html These should look nice on the rims.
Also, I need to spend some tim getting the 8274 refurb'd and then mount to the 4+ bumper before Roundup (hopefully)!!

Awesome! Glad to hear! Maybe ask a mod to move it, I think more pig guys are here than in the 55 section. Tucker74 should be able to do it if you want that.

She's looking good. I personally think you should keep and obviously fix the current air that way it will go with the vintage theme.
