Getting there. Super stoked on the cable shifter mount. Much more beefcake than the previous model.

Also, sprung for a woody for my rear driveshaft. Ended up at 31" and change. ~23* angle of attack, right at the maximum for street use. Let's hope she holds up!

Got the floor finished up this past weekend. Very, very, very happy with how this came out. Have some cleaning and touch up to do underneath, followed by sealant, primer and undercoating. I am particularly proud of the shifter mount, just hoping the shifter doesn't interfere with my leg too badly

Moved on to fabricating the rear crossmember before dropping everything one last time to finish the underside of the floor.

Good time to do some bedliner in the floor and/or dynamat. :)

I used second skin before, trying to decide if I'm going to use more of it, or some of the cruiser crap I have. I don't want to run carpet anymore, so leaning towards the former, but we'll see.

You can do it!!

Need some advice on a few things:

1. Speedometer. Considering moving to a GPS speedometer via @lcwizard 's solution here. Disadvantages of this over sourcing a longer (custom) speedo cable? The stock speedo cable that I've been using is no longer going to work.
60 series dash

2. Flooring. Want to cover the floor from the front seats forward, no carpet. Thinking some type of thermoplastic vinyl that I can heat and mold to my new floor contour. What vinyl/rubber/plastic should I use?

3. Insulation. Thinking that a half inch of foam or jute insulation on top of the floor, under the insulation. Any input on which product to use? Keep in mind that I have second skin on the floor already, so I can't adhere much of anything.

I used this in engine bay. Going to use inside cruiser when I get to that step.

I have something similar I plan to use on the bottom of the floor (exterior). Thanks for the idea, but keep in mind that I have second skin on the floor already, so I can't adhere much of anything.

There are still plans swirling around in my head but I wanted to put some kind of secondary insulation up front with a little more insulation than the spectrum coating I have on there now. I was thinking of using some kind of carpet or vinyl and attaching it to the floor with snaps. Then I could take it out to wash it off and have just a little more civility in the cruiser. It's mostly the summer month floorboard heat that I wanted to reduce but floorboard heat in the winter is a good thing. Interested to see what you come up with.

I've found some generic pvc floor mat material at a few different places, so I just need to make time to find something that works. The key will be to find a thermoplastic material that is able to be formed with heat.

Likely won't have time to get it sorted before next week, but I'll figure something out in the short term.
I like the snap idea. Few snaps on the firewall, few down under the seats. Might have to steal that :P

Knocked this out after work. Finish welding is what's left, then paint.
