Looking gooood, Mike.

Just a quick question about rubbers. I love all the new rubbers, but what about the rubber seals on the door hinges. Where does one get those??

Thanks Bud!

Thank you for the kind words! look forward talking you later, and would love to see pics of your rig. Do you have it documented on MUD?

Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

This is a good looking brake kit. How did you like it? Lot's of other choose to do conversion on mini truck, FJ60, swapping parts from different vehicle just to do a brake conversion. Why did you choose the brake kit? I'm currently have '73 FJ40 with all original drum brake, and plan on front brake conversion.

The rear disc brake kit works well and was a very easy install. My choice was based on safety, an economic factor, availability of parts and ease of installation and was able to achieve all of my goal with this kit.

If highly recommend using an OEM Toyota brake system for your front disc brake conversion.

Thank you for your honest opinion.

My pleasure!

I'd never use this kind of kit for the front brakes I agree with Georg @orangefj45 always use OEM for front brakes, after all safety is paramount.

Any pics of your '73 40? would love to see it.

She "Elsey" is all original '73 unmolested except wheels, Carburetor. It's a Calif. car with a min. surface rust. All number matching. Plan on restoring her to her glory day with OEM minor / safety upgrade

Today I installed the rear spring shims to correct the drive line angles. Used 3* degree Belltech shims and I'm happy to report the drive line angles are once again pretty close to perfect.

Here are a few pics of before and after pics, used the exact same reference point for taking the before and after pics.
