Might be a bit much at 18, but when the little one's vacuum starts to spin the big one, then the exhaust kicks in on the big one, once it spins up its gonna make some power IMO. Balancing those waste gate dumps will take a bit of fiddling, are yours adjustable ?

For a diesel? Nah. That factory was seeing 15ish psi.

Yes sir. Both are adjustable. I agree... may be a bit tricky getting them dialed in...

No worries, I am still learning as well. In a compound setup, on the exhaust side, the exhaust manifold feeds the smaller then the bigger. On the intake side, the large feeds the smaller. I have been told, to start with setting the waste gate on the larger one at 12 psi and set the smaller one at minimum 1.5 times that, so, 18 psi. to start out.... I hope it works!!! lol.
That’s a good explanation, and your pictures above do a good job of showing that.
I hadn’t given it enough thought to even ask the question!

Will be interesting to see if the auto lets the rpms spin up enough to make power. I imagine you will have to shift manually to get it to stay in lower gear at higher rpms. Would be fun to see what low range 2nd and 3rd do, I bet 3rd/low is fun.

The factory Mercedes transmission has tap shift on the shifter. Most of the time last year I drove it manually shifting it. I was having some problems with how it was running and it made it easier to control with me picking the gears. I agree, it will be interesting to see how it behaves with the compounds. They should spool up at a pretty low rpm. Or that's what I am aiming for...

Got a bunch of wiring done today. And got a switch panel/gauge mount made. Tomorrow I will plan to get all those wires under it wired into the switches and gauges. This mount looks way bigger in the pics than it is....

I must have overlooked the rock sliders post... where are those from?? Need.

I can always whip you up a set if you want. I have plenty of material.

Its a pretty basic kit, can either be welded on or bolted on. Fully tig welded with 1/4 DOM main runners and 1/8 wall outers.

Danger Noodle Fab.......

@DangerNoodle made them. They are awesome!!!

I also can't wait to see how well yours take abuse. Karls do pretty dang well and he's tested them a few times, but he's completely bolted with no frame ties. Yours fully welded with the rear tied to the roll bar should be immovable lol
