Yes but does she like it?
Or maybe she picked it?

Truth be told. They sent it as a free switch cover and yes, she said to keep it on. lol.

Had to go to Grand Rapids, MN to pay property taxes and this was in the parking lot of the county building.

Heat shield for the downpipe built and installed.

I may have missed it, is your downpipe already wrapped?
I’ve got a cheap little turbo blanket that I think is effective but I know you don’t want to cover up those pretty turbos.

I didn't wrap it yet. I was thinking I would try it first to see if I need it. I did cerakote the housing and the downpipe. Hoping that pushes enough heat out the pipe that I won't need to wrap. But we will see....

The winter update has come complete enough to be driving the 40! And I have to say I am seriously impressed! I have this vision in my head how I want this rig to ride and drive. And, I will say today that vision is finally matching what I own!! The motor still needs plenty of fine tuning on the fuel map. But she runs strong and hard. Even hit 40 psi on the boost gauge... I am gonna turn that down a little... And the coilovers in the front are unbelievable!! The ride so awesome!! Looking forward to testing it out in the wild next week!!

Awesome, that's a great feeling, very happy for you.

Unlike some people.

Also, do you have Coyote inner beadlocks? Just seeing what looks like 2 valve stems or something.

I need to thank you for the recommendation for Accutune. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. And I am beyond happy with what they sold me!

@Ditcherman I forgot to answer about the wheels. They are made by Teraflex. I thought they were really cool when I bought them. One is a cover to protect the valve stem, the other is a settable air down valve, and they have a replaceable plastic rub ring. But, I called them recently because I was gonna order 2 more wheels for a trailer so they match and they don't make them in the 6 bolt Toyota anymore.....

Just need to get that intercooler coated now...

I know you probably want it pretty, but I’m going to ‘coat’ mine in some stick on reflective insulation.
I installed before and after intercooler temp gauges and can really see the heat sink from the block. I don’t know what’s right and what I should really expect but I’ll at least make some observations.

That sounds like an idea that could take off.

So….are you building a trailer to pull behind, like a camping trailer? Or have one? All I’m aware of is the RV.

Yes sir. Building one. I want a couple things that are not available in pre made trailers. Like fitting a queen mattress... Most trailers are 48 in wide outside.... I get it, sheets, plywood, etc comes in that. But its a little too narrow. And, I want to build a pass through in the roof to get in the roof top tent. That way our kids can sleep up there and I can reach my arm up and check on them. lol.

I did some searching last night. A couple places still have some of the Toyota wheel bolt pattern in those rims. I will try to order 2 so they match.

Yes sir. Probably gonna be next winter. As I don't want to have it down for a month waiting now that it runs. lol.
