You are welcome any time sir!!! How's the shop coming? Got heat in there yet?

it's insulated and we started running wire today, so it's going.

Got the coilover mounts done, frame painted and got started putting everything back together today!! Pretty stoked at how well it is coming out.
I have always been impressed with how well the 80 series handles offroad. So I did my own radius arm setup with 10" travel coilovers. It packaged really well on the 40 and I ended up with 4.5" up travel and 5" down travel.

I can not wait to see what you do to mount the fenders back on. My 10" CO's should be here next week. I am about to put the 80 radius arms on mine with co's. I have ideas on the back, but waiting to see what ride height ends up in the front. I plan to do coils and shocks in the rear, but who knows. I have similar mounts from WFO, Barnes sold out too quick at BF for me to get theirs.

I did Aqualu fenders just because I was getting some rust on mine and I needed to cut out the entire mount arm anyway. The coilover mount took up that real estate.
Here is a pic of fitting them. I just dropped my fenders off to get powder coated yesterday. So I can't take a pic of them.

I copied this idea from Icon. I put my tabs on the back side of the fender. But similar idea.

Are you going to end up with more lift?

Short answer no.

That was a major concern... I set the vehicle at previous ride height on stands, and worked from there. That paper taped on the door is all my measurements. I will have to double check, but, I believe I was able to lower it .5-1"

Been busy trying to get everything back together. Hoping to be firing it up this weekend. Here is a pic of how the engine bay is coming out. Really liking how things look. Big thanks to @DangerNoodle for all his help!!

Thanks! But I can't take credit for that idea. That was all @DangerNoodle 's idea. And after installing them after powder coating, it was an awesome idea!! Amazing how it ties everything together under the hood.

Very impressive! Keep up the good work.

Thanks! I have an awesome group of Toyota friends who have helped a ton, especially with their knowledge on making it not only function, but look good!

If you ever want me to make you spend more money on a build, I'm always around lol.

I always wondered if JP was a good, or bad influence on you.....

Probably both. I dont take shortcuts and refuse to do hokey stuff, so thats probably good, but then it is always more expensive lol.

Here's some other pics in a very random order cause Matt doesn't take a lot of em lol

A turbo ?, large first ? I assume more volume moving slower in front of the faster/smaller turbo, is that correct ? if so can you still control boost, which one do you adjust or both ? I'm thinking boost adjust only on last in line turbo ? I'm learning...

No worries, I am still learning as well. In a compound setup, on the exhaust side, the exhaust manifold feeds the smaller then the bigger. On the intake side, the large feeds the smaller. I have been told, to start with setting the waste gate on the larger one at 12 psi and set the smaller one at minimum 1.5 times that, so, 18 psi. to start out.... I hope it works!!! lol.
