Meet and Greet Mar. 20-22 2015

Hey everyone, Marie, Ike, Guinness, and I are coming down early Saturday morning? We are bringing some Mac and cheese crockpot contraption and breakfast stuff for Sunday. I'll plan to help on trail repairs and leave my better half at the barn to help out as needed. If I can bum a ride to the trails and leave her the FJ, that would be great!

Depending on game time (TBA) of NC St vs Villanova Saturday, my plans may change...

Anybody know of a nearby bar in case it's a daytime game? And, anyone have a satellite setup they could bring to the barn. Sorry folks, I have too much invested in State athletics to just not watch a NCAA tournament game.

Early enough to get to the workday. I'm going to say 7 or very shortly thereafter? It'll be my first real "trip" in Dozer, so I welcome the support, but I don't know if it will require a stop here and there to check things over too.

Uwharrie Sportsman has an upstairs bar and pool room. I'm sure they have a tv or two. Wait...don't you have a Sony Watchman?

Thanks James, just seeing that this morning, and .... smack-dab in the middle of activities.

If nobody has a satellite setup (like Marshall brought to LR), then maybe I can just stream to an iPad. @alk747triodad - do you know if the service has gotten better out at the barn? I heard they added a tower up that way and things had improved out at the trails, so I have my fingers crossed.

If that's an option I can bring a Bluetooth sound bar to turn up the volume for you. I hope we can stream this game.

Ramon, there is a tower about a mile from the barn but doesn't seem to improve cell reception. Maybe you will have better luck...or bring John R. with you.

Lydia is opening the barn today so all the locks will be dummied. The ONSC sign and streamers will be marking the entrance. Whoever is first, just open the gate and doors and leave the locks hanging. Make yourself at home.

The creek is flowing so those with kiddies, bring a change of clothes....the creek is a magnet.

Well, ETA is now up in the air. I had planned to take a half day today to wrap things up on Dozer. However, of course, the fecal matter hit the oscillating rotary air mover toady and I wasn't able to do that. I worked up until 11 and threw in the towel. I'll have to get back on it in the morning and get there ASAP. Hopefully in time to provide some actual trail maintenance help. Grrrr
